Fresh off two sold-out gigs in Philadelphia (one, Philebrity’s “Enchantment Under The Sea Dance,” in which they played a 32-song set of early rock and roll classics to a tux-and-poodle-skirted crowd of 600), Blood Feathers are set to perform at WXPN’s prestigious Free At Noon concert series this week.
The concert will take place and be broadcast live Friday, February 26th at noon ET from the World Cafe Live in Philly. All XPN “Free At Noon” concerts are now being simulcast via National Public Radio’s website – npr.org, and via online broadcast at WBFO in Buffalo, NY., KUT in Austin, TX., and Vermont Public Radio. The band is especially stoked to play this exclusive eight-song set on WXPN, where their new album Goodness Gracious, is currently on regular rotation, and in Philly, where there’s sure to be a capacity crowd.
